The North End Shop and Nibble Neighborhood Shopping Tasting Stroll was so successful, that organizers are thinking about making it an annual event.
“It was a really successful business community event,†one coordinator Marian Klausner told the Review. “Restaurants that provided food for tasting, told us that they receive some business from people stopping by the retail stores that have them.â€
Sixty locally owned North End Shops partnered with neighborhood restaurants sampling free bites in each store all afternoon.
Reportedly, hundreds of people wanted through the streets, discovering the many neighborhood businesses.
Participating retail locations included: A Matter of Face, Acquire, Bottles, Cocoanuts, Ensemble, Injeanius, LIT Boutique, Luigi and Lola, Lulu’s Sweet Shoppe, Officina 189, Savas Studios, Sedurre, Shake the Tree, Sol Optics, Twilight & The Wine Bottega.
Participating restaurants included: Aria, Artu, Bacco, etc Juice, Going Bananas, Goody Glovers, Lucca, Monica’s, North End Fish Market, Panza, Piccolo Nido, Pomodoro, Prezza, Vito’s Tavern and Volle Nolle.
