New District A-1 Boston Police Captain Kenneth Fong and new Community Service Sergeant James Chin will be at their first North End Public Safety meeting in the Nazzaro Community Center at 6:30pm on Thursday, May 1.
This is an opportunity for residents to meet the new Captain and Sergeant in person and to express any concerns related to crime in the neighborhood. It’s also a chance to make suggestions and offer assistance to help stop crime in the neighborhood.
Police will present recent crime statistics that have occurred over the past 30 days at the meeting.
Complaining about crime is easy. It’s just words that don’t help the situation one bit.
The Boston Police North End Public Safety monthly meetings provide residents and the business community and up close and personal opportunity to change useless words into positive actions.
Police have taking a lot of action to prevent crime in the community based on these meetings with residential input.
Meetings usually take about an hour. A short period of time to give to help stop crime in the community.
