Adopt a Nonprofit Organization Has Merit

One way to improve relationships with the community in general, would be for North End businesses to develop an adopt a nonprofit neighborhood organization program.

Businesses can either help the nonprofit financially on a yearly basis, conduct a benefit event or maybe do both.

Giving a donation is the easy way, however putting together an event fundraiser is almost as easy, especially with assistance.

There are many North End nonprofit agencies in the neighborhood. All of them doing a terrific job and could use some financial help.

Adopting a local nonprofit organization will benefit all parties, however a program like this needs to be coordinated.

The only major business group capable of putting together a program of this magnitude is the North End Chamber of Commerce.

The Regional Review is willing to assist with the start up of such a program and publish articles and photos related to an adopt a nonprofit program.
