North End Chamber of Commerce hosted its first community street cleanup campaign. Many local students and residents worked hard last Saturday bagging garbage.

It was a sunny Saturday morning for the North End Chamber of Commerce’s first community streets cleanup campaign.

The business community, residents and representatives from local organizations or agencies turned out for the community endeavor, about 100 people took part.

Chamber Vice President Toni Gilardi said, “It was great to see so many people participating in the cleanup.”

She thanked the City of Boston Public Works Department for their assistance with this community endeavor and everyone that participated including 20 students from Suffolk University.
