Lifelong North End Resident
Geraldo “Gerry†DiBenedetto, a lifelong resident of Boston’s North End, died on Thursday, July 18. He was 44 years old.
The cherished son of the late Maria D’Ascoli and Frank DiBenedetto, he was the loving brother of Frank DiBenedetto, Anna Duarte and her husband, Jose, Gilda Nocera, Nancy and Emilio DiBenedetto and the late Rocco DiBenedetto and the cherished uncle of Simone and Mara Nocera and Sofia and Diego Duarte.
His Funeral will be held from the Boston Harborside Home, 580 Commercial Street, Boston, on Monday, July 22 at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Leonard Church, corner of Hanover and Prince Streets at 9:45 a.m. Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Gerry’s smile and sense of humor will be missed by many.
