Police Public Safety Meeting June 7

Boston Police Area A-1 will hold its monthly Public Safety meeting this coming Thursday, June 7 at 6:30pm in the Nazzaro Community Center, 30 North Bennet Street.

Commanding Officer Captain Thomas Lee, Sergeant Tom Lema and Officer Ted Boyle will attend the public meeting and provide the crime statistics in the North End that have occurred over the past thirty days.

They will also answer questions and provide tips on how to prevent crime in the neighborhood.

The Public Safety meeting offers residents first hand information and an opportunity to make suggestions and express their opinions.

At the May monthly meeting, police announced that part one crime in the North End was down twenty-five percent, the highest drop in any other neighborhood throughout the City of Boston.
