NEWRA Parks and Open Spaces Committee monthly meeting will be held tonight, Tuesday, June 4 at 7pm in the Nazzaro Community Center.
Several issues will be discussed relating to repairs and maintenance in local parks, playgrounds and other public open spaces.
The committee recently met with Boston City Councilor Sal LaMattina and Boston Parks and Recreation Commissioner Antonia Pollack to talk about the issues raised.
Catillo Park, Polcari Playground, the Prado, Copps Hill Burial Grounds, Copps Hill Terrace and Rachael Revere Park were on the committee’s list of things that need improvement.
Residents attending will be provided information and an opportunity to make suggestions or express opinions.
