Mary Parziale

Of Florida, formerly of Boston’s North End

Mary C. (Piantedosi) Parziale of Palm Coast, Florida,  formerly of Boston’s North End, died on December 21. She was in her 99th year.

She was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore A Parziale with whom she shared 46 years of marriage; loving mother of Ann Patetta and her husband, Rocco of California, Richard Parziale and his wife, Joanne of and Patricia Aborn and her husband, Kenneth, all of Florida, Paul Parziale and his wife, Lillian of Revere,  Salvatore Parziale and his wife, Alba of Woburn and her daughter in law, Marie, the wife of her late son Joseph of Florida and her late son. Robert and his wife Maryjane; dear sister of the late Pasquale and Paul Piantedosi; cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren, many great great grandchildren and she is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Eleanor Colarusso

Of Malden, formerly of the North End

Eleanor G. (Imbriano) Colarusso  of Malden, formerly a life-long resident of the North End, died on December 23. She was 101 years old.

She was the beloved wife of the late Frank A. Colarusso; devoted mother of Anthony Colarusso of Naples, FL, Phyllis Giove and her husband, Edmund of Everett, and Mimi Chiesa of Delray Beach, FL; loving sister of Anna Amaru, Louise Malatesta, and Peggy Caso; adored grandmother of nine, great-grandmother of 17 and great-great-grandmother of three and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Marie Colarusso, her son-in-law, Louis Chiesa, as well as eight siblings.

Arrangements were by the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, Malden.  Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Michael Vendetti

Retired Professional Horse Trainer,

former Suffolk County Court Worker

Michael J. Vendetti, formerly of Boston’s West and North Ends; died on December 22. He was 90 years old.

He was a Retired Professional Horse Trainer at Suffolk Downs, Rockingham Park, Narragansett and others and a former Suffolk County Court worker.

He was the son of the late Nicola and Raffelia (Sciaraffa) Vendetti; beloved husband for 48 years of Angelina M. (DeFlumeri) Vendetti, of the North End; loving father of Deborah “Debbie” Albano and her husband, James “Jim” Albano of Tewksbury, with whom he lived for the last two years; adored grandfather of Michael Albano and Jenna Albano; brother of Joseph Vendetti of Townsend, MA, Mary Emmons of California, the late George Vendetti, John Vendetti, and Pasquale Vendetti. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. William’s Church, Tewksbury, followed by burial at Tewksbury Cemetery.
