Two Proposals Scheduled at NEWRA Meeting

Two requests relating to the neighborhood were discussed at the October 23 public meeting of the North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association Zoning, Licensing and Construction Committee, according to co-chair David Kubiak.

“The requests will be placed on a future NEWRA regular monthly meeting for further discussion and a vote by the membership,” Kubiak said.

93 Endicott Street, Jose Faria has filed an appeal for zoning relief to construct a roof deck for private use of the top-floor unit.

78-80 Salem Street, Chris Young has filed an appeal for zoning relief to construct a second floor addition to the existing one-story building and expand the restaurant use, Trattoria Pulcinella, into the proposed second floor. The proposed restaurant expansion will also require amendment of the existing Malt and Wine with Cordials license to increase seating capacity.
