Caroline Viscione

North End Resident

Caroline T. (Mazzaro) Viscione of the North End of Boston died on March 27.

She was the beloved wife of the late Francis A. Sr. ; loving mother of Sammy and his wife, Jenny Viscione of Burlington and the late Francis A. Jr. and his surviving wife, Julie of Billerica. She is also survived by five loving grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were by the Cincotti Funeral Home, Medford. Burial was in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Roslindale.

Salvatore Giambarresi

Merrimac Resident

Salvatore Giambarresi of Merrimac, formerly of Boston’s North End, died on March 22.

He was the beloved husband of the late Edith (Moscaritolo) Giambarresi; devoted father of Joseph Giambarresi of Amesbury, Donna Gia-Clark and her husband, Kelly of Florida, Janine Giambarresi and her husband, Mike of Merrimac; loving grandfather of Jay Giambarresi; uncle of several nieces and nephews and the dear brother of the late Leo and Joseph Giambarresi, Menna Spinnazola and Josie Viviani.

Funeral arrangements were by the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, Medford. Burial was at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Dominic Rizzotto

Longtime Proprietor of Blue Hills Riding Academy

Dominic J. Rizzotto of Summit Avenue, Winthrop died at Winthrop Place in Winthrop after a brief illness on March 25. He was 85 years old.

Born in the North End of Boston, the beloved son of the late Mary (Gerbasi) and John Rizzotto, he was a resident of Winthrop for over 50 years, the longtime proprietor of Blue Hills Riding Academy and a former member of the Revere Moose.

He was the devoted husband of the late Marie M. (Nigro) and the loving father of Mary Rizzotto and her husband, Ron Manucci of Winthrop, John Rizzotto of Carver, Daniel Rizzotto and Dominic Rizzotto, both of Winthrop. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Ernest P. Caggiano and Son-O’Maley Funeral Home, Winthrop. Burial was in the Cross Street section of Winthrop Cemetery. For memorial donations or to sign the online guestbook go to www.caggianofuneralhome.com.
