The NEWRA Zoning, Licensing and Construction Committee will discuss three requests at tonight’s (March 27) meeting scheduled for 7pm at the Mariners House, 11 North Square.
Matteo Gallo has filed a zoning appeal for conditional use to change the allowed use of the first floor from retail store to coffee shop at 236 Hanover Street formerly the “Filthy Rich Store”.
The owner of the shop, “Thinking Cup”, Hugh Gieger and Andre Sadowski will serve coffee, tea, baked goods and sandwiches. They own a similar shop at 165 Tremont Street, across from the Common.
James Barry has filed a zoning appeal to change the allowed use of the first floor at 91 Prince Street from store to residential apartment. The apartment has been in residential use for ten years.
Giovanni Oliva has applied to the Licensing Board for a transfer of the CV 7-Day Malt and Wine License from Cibo Con Amore 78-80 Hanover Street and plans to operate a new restaurant called Trattoria Pulcinella with 42 seats and capacity of 49 and licensed hours of operation of 11am to 11pm weekdays and 11am to midnight on weekends.
