Edith (Marotta) Manni of Boston’s North End died on August 23. She was 87 years old.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Antonetta (Gianelli) and Anthony Marotta; loving wife of the late Louis Manni; cherished mother of Verna Manni, Louis Manni, Annette Creelman, Maria Festa and Michael Manni; loving grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of one; beloved sister of Theresa Marotta and is also survived by many loving nephews, nieces and in-laws.

Of Wellfleet, formerly of the North End
Margaret (Vettraino) Caruso of Wellfleet, formerly of the North End of Boston, died peacefully at home on August 23 surrounded by her loving family and friends.
She was the beloved wife of the late Dario and loving mother of Ronald Caruso of Boston and Angela Caruso of Wellfleet; loving sister of Anthony Vettraino of Framingham and the late Rose D’Amico, Phyllis Laurie and Maria Vettraino; beloved daughter of the late Phillip and Angelina (Rizza) Vettraino; devoted grandmother of Daria Rice of Brewster and Francesca Cusack of Harwich and three great grandchildren.
Burial was at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Roslindale. Funeral arrangements were by the Cincotti Funeral Home, Medford.

Phyllis T. (Albanese) Stevens of Mission Hill, formerly of the North End, died on August 18.
She was the beloved wife of the late Lt. Charles C. (BFD) Ladder 26; loving mother of Pamela Orlando of New Mexico, Lorraine Maddeford of Milford, Diane Sundwall and her husband, Kurt of Marshfield, Marian Murphy and her husband, Stephen of West Roxbury, Charles C Stevens Jr. of Boston, Felicia Roche of Braintree and the late John T. Stevens; dear grandmother of Joanne, Lawrence, Steven, Christopher, Brianne, Nicholas, Jeffrey, Stephen, Kevin and Jenna; great grandmother of Nathan, Alysse, Mitchell, Ian and Joseph; sister of Rosie, Rocco, Dominic, Laura and the late Henry, John and Angie.

Josephine (Sutera) Catanzaro of Boston’s North End died on August 13. She was 84 years old.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Anna (Maniscalco) and Carlo Sutera; loving wife of the late Luciano “Chuck†Catanzaro; cherished mother of Louis Catanzaro and his wife, Vivian, Maryann Saraceni and her late husband, Ralph Saraceni and Karen DiRenzo and her husband, Carlo; loving grandmother of Louis, David, Marlo, Christine, Matthew, and Marco; cherished great-grandmother of Vidriana, Faith, Jacoby, Ava, Lily, Abigail, Richard, Nicolias, and Leo; beloved sister of Lucy Graffeo, Jimmy Sutera, Mario Sutera, Annette Papa, Marie Tarantino, Sal Sutera, Carl Sutera, and the late Beatrice Catanzaro, Freddy Sutera, Leo Sutera and Kay Cadigan. She is also survived by many loving nephews, nieces, and cousins.
