Vincent Buccieri

North End resident

Vincent J. Buccieri of Boston’s North End died on June 11.

He was the cherished son of Anna (Manganiello) Buccieri of the North End and the late James; beloved brother of Anthony Buccieri and his wife, Patti, of Medford, Angela Passacantilli and her husband, Robert, of Medford, Paul Buccieri and his wife, Dawn, of Winthrop; loving uncle of Gianna, Anthony Jr, Robert Jr, Patrice, Christopher, Dominique and Demitria; devoted grandson of Angelina Buccieri of Medford and is also survived by many dear aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral arrangements were by the Dello Russo Funeral Home, Medford. Burial was at St. Michael Cemetery, Roslindale. Joseph Ruggiero Sr.

Dedicated his life to family and community

Joseph L. Ruggiero, Sr. of East Boston  went home to the lord on  June 10  with dignity and strength as he lived his life.

Mr. Ruiggiero  dedicated his life to his family and without his help his son’s dream of owning the Ruggiero Mazzarella Memorial Home would never have happened. Dad may you rest in peace and be with your beloved son, Michael, and both enjoy enternal happiness.

A US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, Mr. Ruggiero was a member of the Typographical Union for more than 50 years and an employee of the City of Boston Printing Dept., a past member of the  Courageous Generation of St. Lazarus Parish, Sons of Italy, Sempre Avanti Lodge 1600 and many other senior and community groups. He dedicated his life to family first and then to his East Boston Community,

He was the beloved husband of over 53 years to Josephine (Pignato)Ruggiero; devoted  father of Joseph L Ruggiero, Jr. of East Boston and the late Michael P. Ruggiero; loving  brother of Robert Ruggiero and his wife, Suzanne, of East Boston and their children Robert Ruggiero of Saugus and Anna Louise Ruggiero of East Boston; cherished grandfather of Joseph III, Jason and Catie Ruggiero, all of East Boston; dear brother in law of Damiano Pignato and his wife, Karen, of Florida, Mary Carrozza and her husband, Robert, of East Boston and the late Rose Marie Parisi and Patricia Pignato.

Josephine Danieli

Of Revere, formerly of the North End

Josephine (Vento) Danieli of Revere, formerly of the North End, died on June 5.

She was the beloved wife of the late Italo Danieli with whom she shared 55 years of marriage; loving mother of Daniel Danieli and his wife, Lorraine, and Gordon Danieli, all of Revere, and her dog Jasman; dear sister of the late Frances DeMeo, Margaret Russo, Anna, Lily, Michael, Anthony, and John Vento.

Domenic D’Amore

Past member of North End K of C, member of Beachmont VFW

Domenic P. D’Amore of East Boston died on June 9.

A US Army veteran of World War II, he was a past member of the  K of C  Assunta Lodge of the North End of Boston and the Beachmont VFW.

He was the beloved husband of Carmela (Gambale); devoted father of Sandra D’Amore and her husband, Paul Anderson, of Arizona and Domenic P. D’Amore Jr. of East Boston; dear sister of Carmela Soriano and her husband, Patrick, of Saugus and the late Jenny Cogliano, Ann Miller, Samuel, Anthony, George and Joseph D’Amore; adored grandfather of Christina and Domenic III; cherished brother in law of George Gambale of East Boston, Nicholas Gambale of Leominster, Anthony Gambale and Alfonso Gambale, both of East Boston, and the late Angelina Scarpetta, Philip and Charles Gambale and Jenny DiMinico.

Pasquale Pezzano

North End resident

Pasquale Pezzano of Boston’s North End died on June 9. He was 77 years old.

Mr. Pezzano worked for many years as a foreman at the Modern Continental Construction Company which worked on the Big Dig in Boston.

He was the beloved husband of Dolores (Ruzzo) Pezzano; loving father of Anthony P. Pezzano and his wife, Diane, of Revere, Rocco Pezzano and his significant other, Lynn, of Andover, Pasquale S. Pezzano and his wife, Lynn Patti,. of Salisbury and Lisa Ann Buccieri and her husband, Michael, of Medford; dear brother of Ersila Torra and her husband, Luigi, of Boston and Antoinette Torra and her husband, Alberto, of Medford and the devoted grandfather of Megan, Mark, Diandra, Michele, and Michalia. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Boston Harborside Home of JS Waterman-Langone. Entombment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, MA chapter, 9 Erie Drive, Natick, MA 01760 (www.lls.org/ma).
