NEAA Freshman Dodgers Drop 2

The Freshman NEAA Dodgers traveling baseball team dropped the last two games 8-7 to the Mission Hill Blue Jays and were completely trounced by their long time rivals the South End Astros in the second weekend contest.

Dodger pitcher Richard Perez struggled with his control and some suspect defense and fell behind 4-0 in the first inning.

A two run double by Robert Pagliuca knotted the game at 7-7 but a seventh inning run gave the Blue Jays the lead at 8-7.

The Dodgers had a chance to tie or win the game in the bottom of the seventh. Perez led off with a walk, Jack Ditomassi singled him to third with two outs but the next Dodger struck out on a 2-2 count ending the game.

The Freshman Dodgers post a 3-4 record.
