Cards Beat Cubs 10-1

The Cardinals evened their regular season record at 3-3-1 in the NEAA Major League Baseball program with a 10-1 convincing rout of the Cubs.

Most of the damage came in the 2nd inning when the Cards sent several runners across the plate with two outs and one on.

Owen Locke singled to start the rally  William Marchi was hit by a pitch, consecutive walks to Francesco Santaniello, Nolan Ward and JC Pezzuto scored two runs enough to win the game.

Thomas Marchi singled in two RBI and when the throw to the plate went wide another run scored with Marchi taking third. Nate Wolf singled in Marchi and scored on two Cub errors.

Ari Aminpour, Marchi and Wolf added RBI hits putting the game out of reach.

Cards pitchers Wolf and Pezzuto handled the Cubs for most of the game allowing only 1 run for the second game in a row.

Cubs run came on a triple by Fernando Soto who eventually scored on an error by the catcher.
