St. Francis Benefit Falls Short of its Goal

-by Phil Orlandella

The North End Friends of St. Francis House Annual Fundraiser was another success according to one of the many organizers of the benefit John Romano.

The two day event held at the Nazzaro Community Center made as much as last year, but they are trying to raise about $350 more.

“If you did not make a contribution and you would like to, there is still time to do so. You can make a check out to St. Francis House and drop it off at the NEAD’s mailbox in the Nazzaro Community Center, 30 North Bennet Street or give it to Carl Ameno for me.”

The group will be collecting until Wednesday, April 13 and thanks everyone for their help in this worth endeavor.
