NEWRA To Elect Officers

The names of North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association members that will be nominated to serve as officers for one-year terms will be presented at the community group’s September 16 monthly meeting at the Nazzaro Community Center at 7pm.

Nominations for the five positions, President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Sgt. at-arms will also be accepted from the floor.

Members will cast votes for these positions at NEMPAC’s monthly meeting on Thursday, October 14 at 7pm.

NEMPAC has a reported membership of over 350 local residents.

The association has five active committees including, Zoning, Licensing and Construction, Clean Streets, Parks and Open Spaces, Executive and Membership.

NEWRA members are encouraged to attend both monthly meetings to participate in the election process.
