By Phil Orlandella

Despite a lot of rain in May, the North End Athletic Association (NEAA)2025 Lacrosse program got off to a great start and even managed to play in the Best of Boston Tournament at the end of the month.

Under the direction of Commissioner David Paolisso, the program included a clinic on Sunday afternoons at Puopolo Park and a traveling program which has 5 teams.

Two boy’s first and second-grade teams, one boy’s third and fourth-grade team and one girl’s third and fourth-grade team.

The travel program played in the Mass Youth Lacrosse League.

“Close to 125 boys and girls participated this year, with the season ending on June 8,” according to NEAA Sports Coordinator John Romano.

A year end celebration was held in the park.
