Don’t Forget to Vote!

Mayoral candidates will be slashed to two following the September 14 Boston preliminary election.

Voters have several candidates to select from, with only two going head-to-head in the final election process on November 2.

This is a great opportunity to elect a new Mayor to manage the City of Boston for the next four years, so, it is important to get to the polls and cast a ballot.

Candidates are Annissa Essaibi George, Andrea Campell, Kim Janey, Michele Wu, Richard Spagnolo, Robert Cappucci and John Barros.

Just What the Community Needed

To say the North End Against Drugs (NEAD) recent North End Family Fun Festival was a success, would be simply an understatement.

Coordinating the weeklong schedule of the festival took many hours of planning and managing the neighborhood event that had something for all ages to participate in.

Many volunteers and sponsors made the festival an active and fun filled event.

North End Losing a Community Activist

Community activist Brett Roman will step down as President of the North End/Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) at its September monthly meeting.

He will also be moving out all of the North End in September as well.

Roman has represented the community in a professional and caring manner and his involvement will be a loss to the neighborhood.

He has also been an asset to the Regional Review providing NEWNC news on a regular basis.
