Buona Sera Fundraiser

ABCD’s North End/West End Neighborhood Service Center will hold its Buona Sera on October 14.

They are currently seeking sponsors, donors and celebrity guests for their 10th milestone year. For details call 617-523-8125.

Library Used Book Sale

Friends of the North End Library Used Book Sale Program continues at the library with no inflation in their prizes.

Gently used book donations can be left in the bin opposite the sale shelves.

NE Historical Society

Friday, July 23, (time to be announced) the North End Historical Society info table with President Alex Goldfeld will present the latest volume of journal of the society to review.

Library Friends Meeting

Friends of the North End Library will hold a meeting at the library on Wednesday, September 8 at 5:30 p.m.

Friends Dues Suspended

The Friends of the North End Library have decided not to collect dues for 2021 even though they hope to be back in full operation by the fall.

Book Discussion

A book discussion, Parable of the Scuer by Octavia Butler will be held at the North End Library on Wednesday, July 28, from 6-7 p.m. Copies available at the library.

Library Craft Kits

Craft Kits for kids 3 and up can be picked up at the North End Library and take home. All needed materials are included in the kits.

NEAD Boston Cruise

North End Against Drugs (NEAD) annual Family Boat Cruise for local residents will take place on Monday, August 2 from 7 to 9 p.m. sponsored by Boston Harbor City Cruises.

Annual Bocce Tourney

Free NEMPAC Concert Series

The site for the North End Music and Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) is the Rose Kennedy Greenway for the 2021 Jazz in the Park Summer Concert Series that features an all-woman, Grammy nominated line up with new and unique artists performing. The free event will be held on Tuesday, July 27, August 3, August 10 from 6:30  to 8 p.m.

Vaccination Shots at Saint Leonard’s Church

New Health walk-in vaccinations for the general public ages 12 and up are being given out at Saint Leonard’s Church, 31 Prince Street on Thursdays from 2 to 6 p.m. For details call 617-724-8725.
