The ABCD North End/West End Neighborhood Service Center (NE/WE NSC) is pleased to recognize the Star Market at the Hub on Causeway as its partner of the month. Wilmer Ruiz, Store Director, and Tom Bilodeau, Produce Manager, of Star Market at the Hub on Causeway came to the center for a check presentation from the Nourishing Neighbors Community Relief Program. In addition, Star Market donated 20 big turkeys, which the NE/WE NSC distributed to residents of the Blackstone Apartments in the West End.
“What a blessing during the season of Lent and Passover!†Maria Stella, Director, ABCD North End/West End NSC exclaimed. “We are so appreciative of the ongoing support of the Star Market at the Hub on Causeway. They are a consistent friend and partner of our work to feed seniors and families in the North End and West End. From complete boxed meals to turkeys to hundreds of gift cards, they make it possible for our clients to access fresh, nourishing food and necessities. We are so glad that their well-stocked, accessible store is in our neighborhood. A lot of uncertainties still lie ahead as the COVID-19 pandemic persists, but we know one constant is the continued help and kindness of the Star Market at the Hub on Causeway. On behalf of our agency and constituents, we thank you.†First priority is for existing and new ABCD members.
