Channel 5’s Chronicle Visits Greenway

WCVB Channel 5’s Chronicle was recently hosted by the Greenway Conservancy and featured the Park’s 10th anniversary and some of the many things to do where people gather, play, explore and have something to eat and/or drink.

Summer on The Greenway also features a carousel, rings fountain, a weekend Open Market. #Summer on The Greenway is presented by citizens Bank with over 450+ free programs.

City Winery on The Greenway is an open-air wine garden located at Dewey Square, open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3:30 to 10 p.m. and Saturdays from 1  to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Live performances presented on selected days.

Meadows in the city “Wild Flower Meadow” has been created as part of The Greenway’s 10th anniversary featuring a unique urban meadow with Black Eyed Susan and wild bergamot in peak bloom.

Boston Public Market on The Greenway is open at Dewey Square on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The market offers locally grown produce, baked goods and other culinary delights.

The Greenway Conservancy will host three incredible free events on Friday, August 9.

Take a free spin on the carousel from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Free Fun Friday from twelve noon to 3 p.m., Truck and Trailer Day, interact and explore a variety of trucks, tractors, machinery, and unique vehicles. Watch CARligraphy from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
