A La Bafana celebration, that marked the end of the Christmas holiday season, was held at the North End/West End Neighborhood Service Center, 1 Michelangelo Street for nearly 50 seniors from the neighborhood.
They enjoyed a made from scratch feast of salad and chicken cacciatore sponsored by Donato Frattaroli of Il Moto, Nancy Frattaroli of Artu and the Taste of the North End.
A generous spread of coffee and pastry was also served.
The Frattaroli family and NSC staff prepare the meal and serviced the seniors. “What a wonderful family place (Center) you have here,†Nancy said as she prepared the meal in the Center’s kitchen.
