Boston Early Voting Website Launched

Ensuring all voters are able to vote conveniently and on their own schedule, election officials have launched the “Vote Early Boston” website (boston.gov/early-voting), which provides important information regarding the City of Boston early voting initiative.

Starting on Monday, Oct. 22, and continuing through Friday, Nov. 2, registered voters can cast a ballot for the Nov. 6 election at any early voting location.

“We have seen in past years the success of early voting,” Mayor Martin J Walsh said.

City Hall will be Boston’s main early voting site daily during normal business hours 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Voting will also take place on Tuesday and Thursdays until 8 p.m.

Neighborhood “pop up” polling locations will be available throughout the city on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

An “Early Voting Weekend” will occur on Saturday, October 27, and Sunday, October 20, 81 in each City Council District from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

A multichannel outreach campaign in several languages will be launched to inform, voters of the early voting program. For a full schedule visit www.boston.gov/early-voting.
