Presented by the Boston Parks and Recreational Department, this year’s Neighborhood Coffee Hour with Boston Mayor Martin Walsh will be held at Christopher Columbus Park on Thursday, June 28, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
The coffee hour presents residents the opportunity to discuss any issue that is of concern, with a special emphasis on parks and playgrounds.
This year, the Parks Department has put together a multimillion-dollar project to improve both Langone Field and Puopolo Park and other areas of public space.
All participants will enjoy coffee and breakfast treats provided by Dunkin’ Donuts, fresh fruit from Whole Food Markets and a gift from the Mayor, a flowering plant growing in the City’s greenhouses.
Many other organizations and city departments will also be in attendance.
