NEAA Benefit Golf Tournament Being Planned

More than one hundred and forty golfers hit the links each year for the annual North End Athletic Association (NEAA) benefit golf tournament held at the Andover Country Club.

Scheduled for Monday, August 6 with a shotgun start 7:30 AM, the tournament is played in memory of lifelong North End resident Carmen “Tilly” DeMarco who was heavily involved in local sports with the NEAA.

Golf, lunch and raffle prizes are included in the entrance fee.

“Money raised from this tournament allows the NEAA to purchase athletic equipment, run sports programs, educational and civic activities within the community each year,” NEAA member John Romano said.
