Attorney Toscano NEAD guest speaker

North End Against Drugs (NEAD) held still another successful Dinner/Talk at the Nazzaro Community Center.

NEAD provided an Italian dinner and dessert for those that attended the neighborhood events.

North End resident and Attorney Daniel Toscano was the guest speaker and did a fabulous tour advising the youth of how important it is to be a leader, not a follower in life.

He also noted how important it is not to get involved drugs in any way, shape or form.

He was very impressive.

RUFF forming Ambassador Program

RUFF is starting and Ambassador program in age from members to get the program off the ground and active.

Ambassador will be involved in neighborhood cleanups, activities, fundraisers, and assisting other community agencies with their endeavors.

Being in Ambassador will greatly help RUFF with more manpower and is a great way to be neighbors in other residents, developing new friends and becoming an active member of the neighborhood.

What a great banquet

Over two-hundred family, friends, coaches and players turned out for the 2018 Nazzaro Community Center’s Basketball program, held at Fillipo’s Ristorante on a Sunday, morning for breakfast and of course the presentation of well over 100 awards and trophies and team and individual photos.

Nazzaro Center Director Carl Ameno, his staff and others planned an extremely enjoyable neighborhood event which recognize the league’s players for their attendance and performance.

NEAA Baseball Opening Day     April 28

Hopefully, there is a great turnout for the 2018 North End Athletic Association (NEAA) Baseball Opening Day on Saturday, April 28 at 12 noon.

During the course of the day, all the NEAA baseball programs will be involved in the festivities at Langone Field and Puopolo Park.

Participants will be displaying their many skills and they would love to have the stands for love spectators.
