Members of the Friends of the North End (FONE) traveled to Deerfield Beach, Florida to once again play in a bocce tournament competition.
Organized by Dominic Piso the tournament took place at Century Village.
 The North End team, for the third year in a row, was defeated by their opponents from Michigan, New York and New Jersey by way of Italy.
“The challenges were exceptional players who may be a beloved past time will easy,†Victor Passacantilli said. “Everyone is looking forward to playing again next year.â€
           He added, “Hopefully, we can convince players back home, in the North End like Vito Aluia, Angelo DiGirolamo, Frank Julianello and Natale DeMarco to attend next year to help FONE when its first victory in this annual tournament.â€
