American Heritage Park on the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway will hold a Welcome Reception for new citizens, their families and friends, immediately following the naturalization ceremony at Faneuil Hall on Saturday, September 21 at 2:30 PM.
The welcome reception contributes decisively to the park’s intent to celebrate the immigrant experience and its core mission of inclusion to come together on common ground.
The special event is sponsored by the park’s Anna & Noubar Afeyan Endowed Fund.
Two North End groups, Friends of Christopher Columbus Park (FOCCP) and the Eliot K-8 Innovative School will participate in the ceremony.
Also involved with the program are: US District Court, The Bostonian Society, Old State House, City of Boston, Mayor Martin Walsh, Faneuil Hall-Marketplace, Faneuil Hall, Museum of Fine Arts Boston and Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy.
