Prince Street resident Sue Benveniste has been presented the North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) “Good Neighbor Award†for cleaning the area in front of her home on a regular basis.
“She was raised in California, in an Italian household and remembers that in order to go out to play she had to clean up in front of her doorway, and do her garden work first,†NEWRA Good Neighbor Committee Chair Janet Gilardi said.
“Sue loved her garden and still feels like she brought a little taste of it with her to Prince Street,†Gilardi said.
