North End resident Joe Nicholson, also known as Gringo da Viola, performed for a sold-out crowd of over 300 patrons at the Hard Rock Cafe in Boston on June 10.
Joseph showcase some of his favorite renditions of songs in English and Brazilian in the concert he refers to as “Joe and Friendsâ€.
He performed with different musicians like Jason Anick, a well-known violinist, Roberto Arini a clarinetist from the Boston music scene, Sarah Messias a skilled harmonica player and vocalist Erin McKenna and Chris Baxter.
Joe recently opened a show for Latin Grammy nominee Maria Gadu at the Chevalier Theatre in Medford where a crowd of 1,500 turned out including Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen.
He has also been featured on radio shows and on Channel 7 news.
 Joe has a busy summer schedule playing in concerts in New York and Boston.
