NEWNC Election Already Decided

By Phil Orlandella

Unfortunately, only six candidates will be on the North End/Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) ballot to fill six two-year terms. All six candidates will automatically be elected.

NEWNC by laws require that an election must be held regardless of the number of candidates on the ballot.

The Nazzaro Center, 30 North Bennet Street, will be the site of the 2017 election. Voting will take place from 10 AM to 2 PM. Voters can vote for up to six candidates.

Ballot counting is open to the public.
