100th Anniversary

Saturday, May 13, 2017 was the 100th anniversary of the Apparition of Our Lady of Fatima to three children,
Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta in Portugal. St. Leonard Church in the North End had a beautiful celebration in honor of Our Lady of Fatima. A new statue of Our Lady, pictured here, was dedicated. This celebration was scheduled to be outdoors but inclement weather forced it indoors to Sacred Heart Church.
Congratulations to Fr. Antonio Nardoianni ofm, Pastor and Fr. Claude Scrima ofm, for putting together such a spectacular ceremony.
