Children’s Programs at West End Library

Music & Movement Story Time with Sherry Eskin – Tuesday, April 11, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Children and their caregivers, join Sherry for a special story time in which every book is a song! Make music with the library’s instruments, and enjoy parachute play. No registration required. Groups and individuals welcome.

LEGO Club – Thursday, April 13, 3:30-5:00 p.m. Take a break after school and build, build, build! Get creative with the library’s LEGOs. Tackle one of the building challenges, or let your imagination go wild. This program is drop-in; all school-aged children are welcome.

Caravan Puppets: Passage to Freedom Passover Celebration – Friday, April 14, 10:30 a.m. Children enjoy this interactive, professional puppet show that focuses on the values of freedom and choices, as told through the lens of the Passover story. Co-hosted with The Vilna Shul. Groups and individuals welcome. No registration required.

Sing-along with Matt Heaton – Wednesday, April 19, 10:30-11 a.m. Matt Heaton performs goofy and gleeful “Toddlerbilly” music! No registration required. Groups and individuals welcome.

Story Time with the Boston Ballet – Mondays, April 24, May 15, and June 19, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Children ages 2+ and their caregivers, once a month to hear stories about a famous ballet or a dancer. Each story time is supplemented with a movement experience that highlights major themes of the story. All story times are led by Boston Ballet faculty dance educators.
