Boston Community Collaborative’s upcoming happenings and events

Ongoing:

Weekly Drama, Dance, Fitness and Engineering for Kids classes for SJS students during the SJS afterschool program.

Weekly Dance classes for JQS students during the JQS afterschool program.

Weekly Drama and Dance classes in the North End, open to students of all schools at the Studio at the Improv.

Weekly Movers and Shakers music and movement classes for babies, toddlers and preschool aged children at the West End Community Center.

Upcoming events:

March 26, 2017, 2 pm at SJS cafeteria stage – Greece – The Iliad and The Odyssey, adaptations by Ingrid.   This play includes 50 youth

performers.

June 2 and 3, 2017 Alice in Wonderland, adaptation by Ingrid, production by Boston Community Collaborative in partnership with the Nazzaro Center.  The story will take place in two worlds, Dinah’s

school for Troubled Children which transforms into Wonderland Galleries, an abandoned art museum.  This play includes 15 youth performers, and four adult professional actors.  Auditions took place in mid-February and rehearsals are under way!Spring date TBD 2017, Annual neighborhood Egg Hunt

Summer 2017, weekly North End Movie Nights in the gassy.

October 28, Annual FUN raiser Halloween party for adult friends and neighbors

October 31, Annual post trick or treat dance party for trick or treaters and their caregivers.
