Younger Seniors Elect New President

By Phil Orlandella

The North End Younger Seniors social group that meets two days a week in the Nazzaro Center has said farewell to former President Ida DePasquale who has decided to retire to enjoy the golden years.

Ida has provided many years of dedicated service to the North End seniors and she was thanked by the group for her volunteer efforts.

Replacing Ida is Deb DeCristoforo, a life-long North End resident, who has been involved with several other neighborhood activities, events and community organizations.

The club is seeking new members and volunteers to call out numbers for their Tuesday and Friday Bingo games from 1 to 2:30 PM.

The club has parties and outings throughout the year and dues are $20 per year.

For details call Deb at 617-699-7717.
