Board of Appeals Approves Two North End Proposals

A proposal by Alpine Advisory Services to change the legal occupancy at 406-418 Commercial Street to include wireless telecommunications equipment, installed within 8- foot fiberglass chimney behind an existing 21” brick parapet four antennas and erect a roof platform to mount two equipment cabinets and GPS antennas thereon with cable runs has been approved by the Boston Inspectional Services Department Board of Appeals.

In addition, the Board approved a request by Chris Iannelli to change the use at 468 Commercial Street from two residential and one commercial unit to residential units and add a public basement access for utilities.

Both community organizations NEWNC and NEWRA supported these requests.
