Responsible Urbanites For Fido (RUFF) continues to reach out to generous vendors/merchants who are willing to support their goal of providing a safe environment for dogs in the North End.
RUFF plans to open a dog park in DeFilippo Park working with the Boston Parks and Recreation Department this coming spring.
This time around, Serenity in The City Salon and Spa, 269 Middlesex Avenue, Medford as part of their 15th Anniversary, Jackie Robinson, owner of the full-service spa has graciously offered to host a fundraiser for RUFF.
Dog owners, non-owners, friends and families are invited to join the non-profit organization on Friday, November 11 from 5:30 until 9 pm. (No pups allowed).
The following spa treatments ($35 each) are: a 30-minute melt away massage with warm stones, a healthy skin-glow facial treatment and a chocolate butter cream pedicure.
To reserve an appointment and receive the discounted values call 781-395-4488 and mention RUFF.
Members of RUFF are looking forward to seeing many people taking advantage of this offer and support a worthy community endeavor.
