Led by State Representative Aaron Michlewitz, the campaign to stop residents from being relocated from the North End Nursing Home to other facilities continues to be in full bloom.
A committee has been formed, news stories have been written, flyers posted, a petition is being circulated and the neighborhood endeavor continues to gain support.
In addition, there are reports of possible picketing at the facility.
Most residents believe this is a done deal by Partners and Spalding and their words are falling on deaf ears but they have vowed to stand tall for their families, friends and neighbors that made the North End what it is, their home.
It is not clear how this endeavor can be fruitful but a small army of residents are geared up to fight the relocation move.
