On Wednesday, June 29 is a good opportunity to rub elbows with Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh at the annual coffee hour held at Christopher Columbus Park on Atlantic Avenue from 9:30 to 10:30am.
The special event provides a great chance for residents and/or the business community to speak directly with the Mayor and enjoy the park as well.
Other city officials will also be in attendance to discuss issues of concern. A suggestion box will be placed in the park for residents to express their views which will apparently provide the city’s insight on how to improve city services.
Coffee and breakfast will be provided by Dunkin’ Donuts and fresh fruit from Whole Foods Market.
In addition, each family participating will receive a flowering plant grown in the city’s green houses as a gift from the Mayor. They will also be eligible to win raffle prizes from Dunkin’ Donuts.
This is a rain or shine event.
