In response and feedback from the community over the past two-years Mayor Martin J Walsh has embarked on a mission to overhaul the organizational identity of the Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA).
His goal is to provide better services to the people of Boston and to inspire greater trust and confidence in the city’s planning agency by establishing an initiative a new identity, mission and values for the organization.
The Mayor’s commitment to smart and sound urban planning, positive economic development and public participation reflects a positive note of the critical reforms already under way over the past two years.
The Mayor claims this is another opportunity to improve city government.
