Firicano’s Barber Shop on North Street is the recent recipient of the North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) Good Neighbor Award.
The award is given to a North End business or residents that helps keep the community clean on a regular basis by sweeping debris from sidewalks and curbs in front of their place of business or residence.
NEWRA member Janet Gilardi presented Rickie Firicano and his father Richard with the community award.
“The Firicanos have been very diligent and dedicated neighbors that have chipped in to help keep the neighborhood clean and really deserve the award,” Gilardi said.
