As they have done for 45 straight years, the North End Athletic Association (NEAA) will hold its very popular North End Christmas Parade starting at Puopolo Park on Commercial Street with the arrival of Santa Claus by helicopter at 1pm on Sunday, December 13.
Santa’s arrival will be followed by a parade through North End streets with marching bands, cartoon characters, NEAA members, children and their families.
The holiday event is conducted in association with the Nazzaro Community Center, North End Against Drugs (NEAD) and the Mayor’s Office of Arts, Tourism and Special Events.
Each year, the North End Christmas Parade gets bigger and better and attracts hundreds of residents and others.
The event is dedicated in memory of James “Jimmy” Pallotta.
In case of inclement weather, the parade will be held Sunday, December 20 same time, same location.
