Josette B. (Kaladjian) Scapicchio of Boston’s North End passed away at home with her family on May 17 after a long illness.
Josette was a member of St. Lucy’s Society of the North End.
Born in France, she was the beloved wife of 56 years to James E. Scapicchio, proprietor of Boston Brass Andiron Co. of the North End; loving mother of Maria Rose Cappucci and her husband, Robert of Medford, loving grandmother of Robert M. Cappucci Jr. of Reading, James A. Cappucci of Somerville, and Victoria Josette Cappucci of Medford; dear sister of DeDe Barsamian of Aix En Provence, Rojer Kaladjian and his wife, Marie of Vienne, France and the late Marie Aharonian and is also survived by her in-laws: Lydia Nuzzo and her husband, Edward of Medford, Dorothy Scapicchio of Boston, Sammy Scapicchio of Boyton Beach, FL, Florence Scapicchio of Medford and Jack McCann of Tampa FL and by many loving nieces, nephews, and her dear friend Daveen Balliro.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Burial was at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
