Residents that would like to participate in the preservation of local parks and open spaces should join or be a part of the North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) Parks and Open Spaces Committee which is actively working with the City of Boston and other agencies to clean up and make repairs to North End parks, playgrounds and other open spaces in the neighborhood.
While the committee is working to improve several sites, they are currently concentrating on the Paul Revere Mall (Prado) which is in dire need of renovations.
