Central Artery Ramp Parcel Public Meeting Scheduled

The fifth public meeting relating to the Central Artery Ramp Parcel Study has been scheduled by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) and the Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA).

MassDOT is required to consider options for covering the open ramp portions of the Central Pottery/Tunnel Parcels 6, 12 and 18 along the Rose Kennedy Greenway.

The meeting and potential construction are the results of environmental commitments made as part of the Central Artery/Tunnel Project.

Reportedly, MassDOT and the BRA are continuing to study options to define potential cover alternatives for the ramp portals.

Staff from these agencies, along with their consultant teams will present refined ramp parcel cover concepts that have been developed based on feedback received from the four prior public meetings, including formal comments received after the most recent January 8 public meeting.

Both agencies urge interested parties to attend for a study update and a discussion on the next steps in the process.

The public meeting is slated for Wednesday, April 15 from 6-8pm at the BRA (City Hall), 9th Floor, in the BRA Board Room.

For details call John Romano at 857-368-8905 or email John.Romano@state.MA.US before April 8.
