Data recently released showed the Boston Public School graduation rate has hit a historic milestone, the highest level in recorded history.
The School Department of Elementary and Secondary Education indicated a 66.7 percent of graduate rate and upward trend since 2006, from 65.9 percent in 2013.
The data also showed the districts dropout rate decrease to a record low 3.8 percent. This is the first time the rate dropped below 4 percent.
Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh has stated education is his top priority and these positive figures clearly point in that direction.
