Another public meeting (4th) to discuss the Central Artery Ramp Parcel Study has been scheduled by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) and the Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA).
Resulting from environmental commitments made as part of the Central Artery/Tunnel project, MassDOT is required to consider options for covering the open ramp portion of Central Artery/Tunnel Parcels 6, 12 and 18 along the Rose Kennedy Greenway.
Officials from both agencies are continuing to study options to define potential cover alternatives and are planning to follow up from the third public meeting that took place on October 29. Staff from both agencies, along with their consultant team will present a series of ramp parcel concepts that were collectively suggested by workshop participants. Interested parties are encouraged to attend and participate in providing feedback on possible solutions. The meeting will be held on Thursday, January 8 from 6-8pm at the BRA Board Room, 9th Floor, City Hall.
