Casino Soap Opera Continues

Casino gambling has become a soap-opera in Massachusetts with a lot of stay-tuned.

Chapter One: A series of having a casino in East Boston at Suffolk Downs (Probably where it should have been built in the first place). Residents of Eastie held all the cards and out-drew potential owners.

Chapter Two: The Tale of Two Cities, Everett versus Revere. Following a wave of media, political and residential outpouring that clearly indicated that both cities wanted a Casino.

However, when the wheel stopped spinning, the Gaming Commission selected Everett. About a week or so later, snake-eyes were rolled, putting a possible bust on an Everett site due to a reported undesirable involved in some way, shape or form.

In between all this, a referendum question has been placed on the November 4 ballot that would roll the dice against any casino gambling in the state.

Chapter Three: Still being written.
