NEWRA Elects New Slate of Officers

The North End / Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) elected a new slate of officers for the 2014-2015 term at its annual meeting on Thursday, October 9, 2014.

President: Ford Cavallari, Battery Street Treasurer: David Goggins, North Street Secretary: Elizabeth Ghiseline, North Square Sergeant at Arms: Robyn Reed, Battery Street

Outgoing NEWRA President, Jim Salini, introduced each of the nominees who made brief statements. With no opposing nominations, the new executives were unanimously elected by voice vote. All NEWRA officers

are unpaid volunteers and their one-year term begins immediately.

NEWRA meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month, 7pm at the Nazzaro Center.
